Leveraging ROADM/DWDM Wavelength, SONET and IP-MPLS networks, Fiber Minnesota transports a wide variety of protocols including T1, DS3, OCx, DWDM waves, Ethernet, MPLS and Layer 2/3 services.

The 40 channel ROADM network is capable of transporting up to 400Gb/s per wave.  Operating on the ROADM network are fully redundant OC48 SONET and state of the art IP-MPLS systems offering sub-50ms failover recovery.  ROADM flexibility allows for quicker turn-up, faster trouble resolution, multiple services over one fiber pair, and any-to-any wavelength transport capabilities.

Tier 1 Internet capability is available in Fargo and Minneapolis.  FM also provides direct connectivity to the Midwest Internet Cooperative Exchange (MICE) in Minneapolis.
